Sharing Crew Profile Info With Your Tour

When you get invited to a new Organization to view info, you'll also get an email asking you to share your profile with that Organization. This allows your tour to view updated info that you've entered on your Crew Profile, keeping everyone up-to-date!

 

What am I being asked to share?

In short, any info that you've entered on your Crew Profile. You can get to your Crew Profile by logging into my.eventric.com, then clicking on your name in the top right corner, and going to My Crew Profile. Any info such as Address, Phone Number, Hotel Preferences, and Swag Sizes can be pulled into your contact record for a tour to view - but only if you Trust that Organization with your info.

Info in the Public Profile and Skills & Credentials tabs will not be shared, and your Privacy settings will not be shared. Info in the Personal Information, Family Information, and Tour Preferences tabs will be shared with Organizations you've Trusted.

 

How do I share my info?

Method 1: click on the Enable Profile Sharing button in the "Share your profile" email you were sent, and if you're not logged in already, log into my.eventric.com. Once you've logged in, you'll Trust that Organization with your data!

Method 2: log into my.eventric.com, click on your name in the top right corner, and go to My Crew Profile. Click on the Profile Settings tab, check the checkboxes of any Organizations you wish to trust, then click the Update Profile Settings button at the bottom of the page.

 

What if I don't want to share my info anymore?

Log into my.eventric.com, click on your name in the top right corner, and go to My Crew Profile. Click on the Profile Settings tab, uncheck any Organizations you don't want to Trust with your data, then click the Update Profile Settings button at the bottom of the page. All of your info except Name, Title, Company, and your Master Tour Email Address will be cleared out from the Organizations you no longer Trust.

  

I'm a Tour Manager or other Admin - how do I find this info in the desktop app? 

Easy! A contact record will be generated for anyone you add to your Organization as a User. So, just go to Tour Crew (under Navigate>Tour Overview in the top menu bar), then click Add Crew Members. Search for the name of the person you want to add to your Tour Crew contact list, then double click their record to add the contact record. If the user has not entered any info themselves, or does not Trust your Organization, then you'll just see their Name, Title, Company, and Email Address. If the user has Trusted your Organization, then you can see all the info they're sharing with you by clicking the Edit button to the left of their name, then clicking on the various tabs of their contact record.
