Utilize Google Maps For Your Routing

You can view the events in the legs that you’ve created along with the routing by clicking on either the View Full Tour button on the Dashboard or by clicking directly on the Routing tab in the Tour Leg Overview.

If you click on any of the plotted points, you will see a pop-up window with the Venue’s address and distance to/from the previous and following venues. From this window you can also click on the Get directions button to see turn-by-turn directions. From within this window, as well as in the upper-right corner of the Routing tab, you can click on the Open in Google Maps button, which will allow you take full advantage of all of Google Maps’ features, including their new collaborate feature.

If you save the plotted address to your My Maps section, you will see a link that says Collaborate. If you click on this link, you will be able to invite others to share this mapped data. They can upload photos about this area, add notes, convert miles to km, edit driving directions, and share this data with others.

Very few of the options listed above are working for me. I've routed an upcoming tour; the routing tab does show all tour stops however, the background is completely blank - no map is visible. Further, if I click on a point it does show the date, venue and address but no other information is available as stated above in the article, "If you click on any of the plotted points, you will see a pop-up window with the...distance to/from the previous and following venues." Lastly, when I do try to open route in google maps, only a portion of the point are listed. Running MT ver. 2.1.179 OSX 10.9.5 with Safari browser. Could this be a Google problem?

    Hey John,

You're right, this is an issue caused by Google - Google Maps changed their API without notifying their third party developers, so right now we're working on a solution to show all the maps properly using their new API. We're hoping to have it sorted out very soon.

    Thanks,
    Patrick

How do I change the data from miles to kilometers? It's a European tour, and I'll need kilometers/degrees in Celsius/time in 24 hour clock. How do I change that?
