Saving Any Printout as a PDF

Fun fact:  you can save any of your Master Tour printouts as PDFs.  Here's how:

 

 First, select the report you're wanting to save as a PDF in the Print menu:

Next, click the print button in the print preview window:

And here is where things differ between Mac and PC.  First, the Mac instructions (scroll down for PC instructions):

Mac:

 Then, click OK at the Page Setup window:

And click the PDF button in the resulting window, and select "Save as PDF":

and that's it!  Using this method, you can save any standard printout as a PDF.  Other formats such as RTF, DOC, and TAB follow a different export procedure and can't be saved as PDFs directly from Master Tour, but can be saved as such through third party applications such as Word and Excel.

 

PC:

Before you go any further, you'll need to make sure you have CutePDF Writer or some other pdf writer installed on your PC.  CutePDF Writer is a free pdf writer that can be downloaded here:  http://www.cutepdf.com/products/cutepdf/Writer.asp

Once you have a pdf writer installed, read on:

Next you'll need to select CutePDF Writer or another pdf writer as your "printer" and click OK:

Which will bring up this window, where you can name your new pdf file and select where to save it:
